What is complex care?
Complex care is for people whose health needs go beyond everyday help. That might be a neurological condition, a spinal injury, breathing difficulties, a disability, or care towards the end of life. It means more clinical tasks, more monitoring, and carers with the right training.
We build each care plan with the person, their family and the healthcare professionals already involved, such as GPs, district nurses and therapists. Our carers then follow it carefully and flag changes early. The aim is for people to stay at home, comfortable and safe, with as much independence as their condition allows.
How we can help
Depending on the person’s needs, complex care can include:
